TABLE #1: SECRETS OF SPEAKING ON CRUISE SHIPS

Over 1.5 million cruises set sail each year around the world and most of them book speakers to provide entertainment to passengers. Speaking on cruises is fun and allows you to travel the world in style for free. When you know how to get booked, you can visit exotic destinations, become an onboard celebrity, earn fees and pick-up even more bookings.

You’ll learn what cruise lines want in speakers, how to develop topics that will get you booked, how to sell your products on board, and how to get your airfare paid to anywhere in the world.

About the Presenter

Michael Soon Lee, CSP, DBA, has spoken on cruise ships around the world for over twenty years for cruise lines such as Celebrity, Holland America, and Princess. He’s used his speaking skills to travel free to four continents and dozens of countries including England, France, Germany, Sweden, Russia, India, Cambodia, Panama and Vietnam.

Dr. Lee is the author of eight books including “Cross-Cultural Selling for Dummies” and “Black Belt Negotiating” and has spoken over 1,000 times around the world to companies like: Coca-Cola, General Motors and Boeing. Michael was awarded NSA NC’s Member of the Year in 2006 and again in 2018.

TABLE #2: HOW TO CONVERT CONTENT INTO CASH

If you know you need a product to sell, you'll be inspired by this session. You'll learn how to quickly turn your content (blog posts, articles, workbooks, podcasts, webinars) into sellable products. Rebecca created several of her 28 books in a week -- others took twice that long! You'll see how you can create a product in a month, if you need that long. She's created 400 recordings that she sells, and myriad other products.

About the Presenter
Rebecca Morgan, CSP, CMC is an international speaker, trainer, author and consultant specializing in creating innovative solutions for workplace effectiveness challenges.  She's appeared on 60 Minutes, Oprah, the Wall Street Journal, Forbes.com, NPR and USA Today, and is the bestselling author of 28 books. Two have sold over 250,000 copies each and have been transalted into 9 languages. Rebecca received the NSA NC Member of the Year award in 1993.

TABLE #3: $0 TO $200K IN ONE YEAR: OUTBOUND MARKETING THAT GETS YOU BOOKED

Have you ever noticed that many talented speakers get frustrated with creating a sustainable full-time income from speaking? Have you seen seasoned speakers who struggle to get booked consistently? Unfortunately, this happens frequently in our industry because most speakers haven’t built a business that predictably generates qualified leads with a seamless system for contacting and following up with them.

You’ll learn how to leverage systems and overseas virtual assistants to help you build and scale a successful speaking business. You’ll also learn about the tools and technology that will save you time, money and energy, so you can spend your time responding to people who are already interested in talking to you about speaking at their events.

About the Presenter

Before Ted Ma came to his first NSA NC Meet the Pros meeting in 2018 he had never been paid to speak. After committing to learn from the best and apply what they taught, he built a team of virtual assistants for outbound marketing that helped him book over $200K in keynotes in his first full year as a professional speaker.

TABLE #4: HOW TO FOLLOW UP TO CLOSE MORE SALES

Follow up is more than shooting off an email. It's a sequence that requires time and effort. Being your own sales force is tough enough, but without the right process, you can be leaving a lot of business on the table for your competition.

The right follow-up process will help you be more proactive, productive and profitable, so you can stop waiting for those calls that never come.

You’ll learn how to develop a follow up process specific to your business, and how to consistently keep a steady stream of sales. By learning exactly what to say, when to say it, and how often to follow up, you’ll close more sales from your networking efforts.

About the Presenter

Kristy Rogers is the Founder and President of Business Women of Silicon Valley, a professional networking community.  She has been producing monthly networking events for over 23 years, and has built business women’s community of 600 active members in just 5 years. Kristy has become masterful at follow up by developing a great system and acting on it daily.

Business Coaching is now a 15-billion-dollar industry in the US and it’s growing exponentially. It’s a field where speakers, trainers, and consultants can translate their expertise and experience into good paying coaching roles that make a real difference in the lives of leaders.

You’ll learn how to become an Executive coach and get certified by International Coaching Federation. You’ll also learn fundamental coaching tools you can use immediately in your current work as a speaker, trainer and workshop leader, and how to incorporate them into your sales process for better results promoting your programs.  And you’ll walk away with a resource guide with practical tools you can use right away.

She’s worked with fast-paced companies such as Google, Eventbrite, and Verizon, and is now the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of BetterManager.us, a coaching firm with over 40 coaches working in North American and the UK.
